Samsung

Samsung recently announced their new BizBee branding for enterprise smartphones, and it looks like they mean business after bringing on an ex-marketer from Research in Motion, Marcus Stone, as their new head of smartphones in the UK and Ireland. Along with Marcus is Nick France, who will handle business-to-business sales. Surely Marcus’ experience with RIM and BlackBerrys will give Samsung a leg-up in the enterprise market, but no doubt Mr. Stone will bump into a few colleagues while duking it out for customers. I find this just a little funny, as Motorola sued RIM for poaching their software developers in September, and now RIM’s lost one of theirs to the competition. That’s turnover for ya.
