LG launches Ice Cream Phone 2; We don’t get it

After releasing a handset for skiers, LG is out with another winter edition phone. It’s the Ice Cream Phone 2 and it will be released in Korea. Apparently, the original Ice Cream Phone was released in April and honestly, we haven’t noticed it. The successor sports the clamshell form factor and at thickness of 15.5 mm, it’s quite thin for a clam.

The Ice Cream Phone 2 was made for CDMA-based networks and comes with EV-DO Rev. A support. Other specs include T-DMB mobile TV receiver, web browser, electronic dictionary and more.

Now you may ask why it’s called Ice Cream? LG seems to think the pastel tone colors along with “cute emoticons” such as heart and smiling face, and orange colored LED light will make some people affiliate this phone with their favorite frozen candy. I don’t get it…

Anyway, LG will make the Ice Cream Phone 2 available in three different colors — snow white, sky blue and peach pink — and will sell it through LG Telecom for about 400,000 KRW.

The author of this article is freaking lame… do you have something against LG??
Not because you didnt notice when the first ice cream phone
was released means that everyone else believes in that way. Americans tend to not know
what happens around them.. so.. i kinda understand your poor article…
By the way… about the design…
If you were korean or if you knew about korean culture you’ll know why this design resembles
ice cream.. Think before you write something!
