Thanks to the FCC, we know a new device is heading towards U.S. Cellular’s portfolio. It’s the music-centric Samsung R470, which as you can see from the image above, looks quite decent. That being said, it’s far from a high-end phone (just like most of U.S. Cellular’s offering, to be honest) — rather, it’s a low-to-mid ranger designed for those people who need a simple to use, yet elegant mobile phone that can also work as an MP3 player. In that sense, with dedicated music control keys, headphone jack, external speakers and microSD card slot – the dual-band CDMA R470 clamshell could prove to be a hit for the carrier.
We’ve no information about the availability, but something tells me with CES just around the corner, we’ll have more to report within days. Stay tuned…

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
