Although Nokia’s “Comes with Music” initiative still struggles to pick up momentum, a deal like this one could turn things upside down. UK mobile phone retailer, Carphone Warehouse, has reduced the price of the Nokia 5310 Comes with Music Edition to 82.18 GBP on pay-as-you-go plan — and that’s the price with full-year of unlimited music download service!

Sure, the 5310 is far from a high-end device and I can’t envision myself using it on a daily basis, but “80 pounds for unlimited music downloads” offer rocks. AllAboutSymbian’s Rafe even suggests eBay-ing the phone after purchase for around 50-60 GBP. As a result of such a move, you could get an all-you-can-eat music for about 30 GBP! And remember, once the first year expires, you get to keep all the songs you’ve downloaded during the period.

Enough said, here’s a link to Carephone Warehouse’s offer. Use it while it’s still online! ;)

Crappy ugly phone, DRMed music (one phone and one PC??? seriously?). Kids are going to keep on torrenting (non DRM files). Thank you very much. Moving on.
