The folks at Android Central aren’t sure when this actually appeared, and quite honestly, I’m not either. Regardless, it looks like there’s another option out there for anyone looking to pick up a T-Mobile G1. The Android-powered device is now available on Amazon.com.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: ‘It must be available at a cheaper price!?’. Actually not. The T-Mobile G1 is currently selling for $179.99 on a new service contract, with free 2-day shipping. You can pick up to 5 devices per household. Also of importance here, is if you purchase the G1 from Amazon and cancel your service plan before a 181-day threshold, Amazon will ding you with a $250 cancellation charge. Something to keep in mind.

Go ahead and check it out for yourself at Amazon.
