Fans of the Treo Pro running on Big Yellow (Sprint) will have to wait a little bit longer for their device of choice. An internal memo going around at Best Buy notes that the Sprint Treo Pro will be delayed until February 15th. This all seems quite strange, as Best Buy have apparently received shipments of the Sprint Treo Pro as of January 22nd and 23rd. Despite having the device in-stock, the official launch has been put on hold until mid February.
Details on the why? of it all are really fuzzy, but there must be a darn good reason. You can head down to your local Best Buy to see if you can catch a glimpse of the device, but I reckon you’ll have better luck come February. When all is said and done, I figure you might as well wait for the Palm Pre anyway 🙂
