Alpine’s iXA-W404 2-DIN digital media receiver extends iPhone experience on the road

Alpine has a new in-car digital media receiver in its offering. It’s the iXA-W404 2-DIN and it lacks CD/DVD mechanism. The “Made for iPod” and “Works with iPhone” device gets all the data from either an iPod or iPhone through a dedicated USB input. In addition, it also supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to make and take handsfree phone calls and drive more safely as a result.

Rest of the specs include a 4.3-inch QVGA touchscreen, simple iPod-like user interface, and double-encoder knob. In a nutshell, it’s a in-car music system for true Apple fans. Although it’s pricey, the Alpine iXA-W404 2-DIN will extend the iPhone/iPod experience on the road. 😉

More information is available from Alpine’s website.
