Spice S940 is a decent candybar designed for students

Remember the Spice X-1 gaming handset? Well, the same company which built that one and for which Sony Ericsson reportedly expressed some interest, is out with the new product. The so called Spice S940 is designed for students, allowing them to easily access online portal that provides preparation for the CAT, IIT and some other professional exams. In addition, there’s the “friend finder” feature, enabling schmoozing on the go, something every student needs on a daily basis. ;)

Other specs include 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, media player and the “email2sms” feature, which (guess?) allows sending emails via SMS.

The price, you ask? It’s Rs 5,999, which is about $122 and it’s not bad for such a device.
