Last October, we talked about Samsung C6620 which was launched by Italy’s TIM. Now we’ve spotted very similar (same?) device, Samsung C6625, on Expansys which is selling it for 249.99 GBP (around $360).
From what I can tell, we’re talking about a decent smartphone here. Aside from boasting the full QWERTY keyboard, Samsung’s Windows Mobile baby also packs a 3G radio (HSDPA), 2.6-inch QVGA screen (no it’s not a touchscreen), aGPS, Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS, and a microSD memory card slot. Lack of WiFi can be a dealbreaker for many, myself included — but then again, I guess we shouldn’t expect much more for $360. On a contract, this device could be easily offered for free and in that sense it rocks, especially for those that can’t live without full keyboard on their mobile phone. Too bad, we’ve no further information whether the Samsung C6625 will ever hit some carrier’s offering…
