If you had any doubts that Visual Voicemail functionality was en route to your BlackBerry, let this latest find put that uncertainty to rest. Boy Genius Report has found that the BlackBerry Visual Voicemail option is now visible on AT&T’s online account management web page. The appearance of Visual Voicemail in AT&T’s own internal BlackBerry management system bodes well for a near-term launch from AT&T.
Just don’t go pulling up your AT&T account online and trying to enable the Visual Voicemail feature, all you’ll end up with is an error message and dashed hopes. But, the Visual Voicemail option is listed at $0.00, so it looks like BlackBerry users will be enjoying free Visual Voicemail when AT&T gets around to launching the new service.
