Around the end of October, Bluetooth manufacturer Plantronics had announced a gold-plated, diamond-encrusted version of their popular Discovery 925 headset to auction off for charity. They brought it along to Mobile World Congress to show off at Mobile Focus on Monday, boasting it should fetch upwards of $50,000 for the Elle charity. As you can see, wearing the headset bestows upon its wearer immediate and startling awesomeness, hawtness, and pimptitude. Of course, that’s not the only thing that brough Plantronics to the show – some snazzy new stereo Bluetooth headphones that came out at CES and a brand new iPhone dock also populated the Plantronics booth.
