My buddy Jake Leveto over at Nuclear Nova Software has gone ahead and updated what is probably my favorite golf game for the iPhone and iPod Touch to date… GL Golf. The game is jam-packed full of golfing goodness, and the deluxe version now contains 23 full courses for you to play. Also, to coincide with this update, Jake has lowered the price on the standard vesion of GL Golf to $0.99. The standard version will give you multiplayer gameplay, 6 golf courses and a whole lot more.

New features and specs in GL Golf 1.04:

  • Sharpened terrain textures
  • Upgraded to iPhone SDK version 2.2 to take advantage of apples new firmware code.
  • Better alternate view of the green
  • Several small bug fixes
  • Addition of the twenty-third course (deluxe edition)
  • Fixed overlapping user interface information (lite edition)
  • New Admob SDK prevents accidental ad clicks from exiting the program (lite edition)
  • More information on additional courses (lite and standard edition)

If you play golf, you need to pick up GL Golf. Thankfully there’s a Lite version (free) that will allow you to try before you buy. If you like it, pick up the standard edition for $0.99, or go full-bore with the deluxe edition for $9.99.

Thanks Jake!
