I have to admit, I’ve never wondered or wanted to see this, but it is very cool nonetheless. Above is a video of the Android OS running on a Dell Axim x51v.

A guy named Ertan D. over at AxDroid has managed to port Android to his Axim x51v device. You’ll notice that there is no keyboard on the device, so he has obviously loaded the ‘Cupcake’ dev branch onto the device. His development is almost complete, as Ertan only needs to get WiFi and a few other things working properly. To follow along with his development, you can read Ertan’s blog with news and updates on his progress.
