Samsung is looking to give 50 Ambassadors a free Samsung Omnia HD that they will use to spread the word about the latest and greatest from Samsung. Ambassadors will be asked to give the world a first-look at the new handset by “blogging, filming, playing, chatting, and demonstrating its unrivalled capabilities.”
The successor to Samsung’s popular Omnia touchscreen handset lives up to its namesake with an 8-megapixel camera that can capture video at full 720p HD resolution. As a mobile phone, the Samsung Omnia HD sports quad-band GSM radios with full HSPA support. As a cameraphone, the Omnia HD rocks an 8-megapixel camera and some seriously powerful video recording capabilities (720p @ 24fps is quite impressive for a cellphone).
