After some snooping through the iPhone 3.0 OS, the traces of new Apple devices were spotted. We don’t get much more than idea of how many models will be coming out and in which order, but it’s something for speculators to chew on.

iPhone2,1 – 0×1294
iProd0,1 – 0×1295
iPod2,2 – 0×1296
iPhone3,1 – 0×1297
iFPGA – 0×1298
iPod3,1 – 0×1299?

2,1 looks like the same one spotted in January, but the other five are all new. The iPhone Nano remains a likely candidate, as does the recently-rumored OLED iPhone, and maybe some associated iPod cousins, but it’s hard to say at this point. Regardless, it’s becoming clear that in the future we’ll be hearing about new Apple devices from unearthed firmware code first and foremost.
