A T-Mobile-branded ROM for Windows Mobile 6.5 has just been leaked for the HTC Touch Pro 2 announced at Mobile World Congress last month. We had heard T-Mobile Germany would be getting the Touch Pro and Touch Diamond 2, so it stands to reason the carrier’s U.S. counterpart would get the same treatment. If you’re looking to tinker around, and maybe even shoehorn the software into another device, the ROM is available on XDA-developers. A 3.6″ WVGA TF touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera and secondary VGA conference camera, GPS and 7.2 MBps downlink are just some of the goodies the Touch Pro 2 has to offer. Germany’s due to get these in June, so it’s fair to assume Americans are looking at a similar timeframe.
