Remember the Samsung phone with that cool morphing keyboard from yesterday? Well, a few more snaps of the Alias2 U750 have cropped up from a Verizon equipment guide, and the menu design is interesting, to say the least. I’m not sure if I would want to feel like I’m in a kindergarten class every time I opened up my phone, but it’s an interesting take on traditional menu navigation, in any case. Still, the mode-shifting keyboard is the showstopper on the Alias 2; the keys change depending which way it’s flipped open, which is a great way to get around space issues that dual-sliders tend to bogged down with. Maybe it’s just a gimmick for now, but if the Alias2 can practically pull this trick off, maybe we’ll see other handsets following the trend.
