The HTC Touch Diamond2 is widely expected to continue the success that HTC has seen with its original HTC Touch Diamond smartphone. A new rumor has be circulating that hints at a European and Asian launch of the HTC Touch Diamond2 in mid-April. The new rumor falls in line nicely with a previous report that T-Mobile Germany would be the first carrier to offer the HTC Touch Diamond2 and HTC Touch Pro2 in the first half of 2009.

We’re also hearing that the HTC Touch Diamond2 will sport a roughly $600 price tag at launch, although it’s not clear how much the US-spec HTC Touch Diamond2 will actually cost.

There isn’t much to go on at this point, but we’re keeping the hope alive for T-Mobile USA launching the HTC Touch Pro2!

I cant not wait for the HTC touch pro 2 to come out. I was hoping AT&T will pick it up. I have Verizone, not really happy since they use digital and analog signal still. T-mobile is GSM like AT&T but not sure how there service is here. on the other hand, i know AT&T is good =o)

I probably won’t check back up on this but what is the fascination with the American market wanting a full qwerty keyboard. IMO the Touch Pro 2 is a fail from the original. The Diamond and Diamond2 are much better. Just my O.

If I were T-mobile or any other carrier in the US I’d actuall go for both versions of the phone. Diamnd2 and Pro2 just to make everyone happy. I know that if T-mobile gets the Pro 2 I’ll be happy but I’ll still buy an unlocked version. Probably the Diamond2. I just can’t stand how carriers here block things on the phones and that they are locked. yes that’s all fixable with hacks but I’ve bought unlocked since I got my Nokia 7210 like 7 years ago when it came out.
