Fring has updated its application for iPhone and iPod Touch with some extra functionality its users demanded. Among the things that are change/updated are:
- You can now choose whether to show or hide your offline and regular GSM contacts.
- Fring settings has been moved to the general iPhone settings.
- There’s a small flag symbol in the top left hand corner of the dialer screen which is used for country/International dial code selection.
- Finally, Fring announced a notification add-on that will beep when your friends from various IM networks are trying to connect with you whilst Fring is closed. This service will eventually be in line with the iPhone 3.0 firmware and the new notification feature.
In addition, there are quite a few small changes included in the 1.1.07 update — a short video demoing the latest release follows after the jump. Enjoy!
