vodafone_logoWooHoo! Time for iPhone fans in Australia to get down to a Vodafone dealer. Vodafone Australia has announced that the iPhone 3G will be free of charge when a customer opens a AU$69 plan, on a 24-month contract.

Edward Goff, General Manager of Consumer Markets at Vodafone commented:

“Vodafone is thrilled to be offering iPhone 3G for $0 on the $69 iPhone plan, the first time this has ever been offered in Australia…There has never been a better time to buy an iPhone.”

No doubt!

Of course, this is just yet another sign that the next-gen iPhones are coming… But still, if you want a great deal on one heck of a device, you might as well take advantage of these offers while they’re on. If money is an issue, the times are right to pick up an iPhone at a sizable discount… No doubt when the new iPhones come out there will be absolutely positively no discounts… that’s a fact! :)
