Yahoo! Messenger for iPhone

Almost missed this one. Yahoo is going iPhone – that’s the important news and is hence worth getting back to it.

Recently, the once proud number one search destination announced its iPhone application, allowing users to access their favorite Yahoo services — including OneSearch, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Finance, and Yahoo! Weather. Then, just few days ago, we’ve seen them going once again for Apple’s platform by releasing Yahoo! Messenger for iPhone.

As a result, hard core Yahoo junkies can use their favorite company’s tools all in their purple-yellow glory. Not that you couldn’t access most of these services from some other app or via mobile web, but native app is the best way to go.

Anyway, to grab Yahoo’s iPhone apps, simply search for “Yahoo” in iTunes and take it from there…
