Google Maps for Symbian S60 gets a minor updated; Reaches version 3.0.1.4

Google Maps for Mobile

Google has released an update to its popular Google Maps for Mobile application for Symbian S60 smartphones. Version 3.0.1.4 doesn’t contain tons of new stuff, but improves the user experience slightly.

The most noticeable new feature is a context popup menu which allows users to quickly get directions for the certain address, switch to street view (where available), add location to favorites and search nearby. As a result of this change, it is faster to perform tasks mentioned above, especially on the touch-enabled Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.

Moreover, I guess there are some other not-that-visible changes that should further improve stability of the application, although we don’t have the change log…
