Sporting News Baseball iPhone app

Zumobi and SportingNews.com recently released an iPhone application called Sporting News Baseball, to provide users with real-time updates and exclusive fantasy content on all teams and players in the MLB.

As expected, Zumobi provided the technology, while SportingNews.com brought all the content. As a result, the application is both good lookin’ and content rich, giving fans an instant access to scores, full standings, stats, MLB league and team news, player details, in-game updates, post-game recaps, and much more — all while-on-the go, from the comfort of their iPhone or iPod Touch.

Moreover, Sporting News Baseball provides player rankings and projections for the upcoming season as well as access to exclusive news and Sporting News blog content. Finally, and this one’s for fantasy sports enthusiasts, users can pick their favorite players and rosters, add them to “Favorites” to create their own ultimiate dream team.

Just like that was the case with Zumobi’s basketball application, Sporting News Baseball is available for free application and is fully supported by advertising. AppStore link is here.
