China’s Qiao Xing Mobile to launch luxury, multi-touch enabled VEVA S90 on April 16

CECT brandChina-based Qiao Xing Mobile Communication, which we know for its CECT brand and a number of ripoff devices, announced that it will be launching a luxury, multi-touch enabled handset – VEVA S90 – on April 16th. Aside from boasting the mentioned multi-touch support, the upcoming device will also come with EDGE radio (no 3G) and CMMB digital TV functionalities.

And that’s about all we know at this stage. We’re glad to see Chinese company doing some real original work, and I’m honestly looking forward to see this baby in action. The press conference is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. in Sofitel Wanda Hotel in Beijing…
