Poll: Have you used your smartphone on the toilet?

Smartphones are becoming more and more integral to daily life. For many, the mobile phone is an intimate connection to the world. Text messages, emails, web surfing – the ways in which we use our smartphones to connect with others and absorb information may even be more personal than a trip to the bathroom. There’s even a small chance you’re reading this on your own “throne.”

Previous studies have shown that smartphone users aren’t afraid to “do the deed” while “taking care of business,” and it seems that Google’s latest Google Apps survey agrees. So, in the spirit of the survey, which found that some 67% of respondents had at least once checked their Gmail inbox while on the toilet, we’re asking our readers: “Have you used your smartphone on the toilet?”
