It sure seems like David over at TmoNews keeps coming up with the T-Mobile ‘goods’ these days. Just a little while ago I noticed another great tidbit he posted over at his site.

In a leaked product/service timetable shot, one can clearly see that Visual Voicemail is cued up for launch on T-Mobile for July 16th. No details on what devices will get the service, but no doubt many will be pleased. Currently the iPhone makes full use of Visual Voicemail (it’s awesome), and G1 users can grab visual voicemail via a 3rd party app. Should be interesting to see if the G1 and new Android devices receive this upgrade.

Thanks David!

Yea, just another way for T-Mobile to nail us for another $5.99 per month – Not that it’s not easily justified to the really lazy or those that don’t concern themselves with value but for me unless it’s free I won’t use it. I pay enough already per month & have always wonder how some of the overseas companies can offer so much more for less.

There’s already visual voicemail for T-mobile – and it’s free. Checkout youmail.com, and if you have a G1, our YouMail application in the Android Market.
