att-mywireless-mobile-1Well look what we have here. AT&T has gone live with a new iPhone application that allows iPhone customers to quickly and conveniently manage their AT&T wireless account. The AT&T myWireless iPhone application is now available (for free through the iPhone AppStore) to help iPhone users bridge the gap between online account management and on-device account management.

AT&T’s myWireless Mobile application lets you view and pay your bill, add or remove wireless features (SMS, change minute allotments, etc.), and makes it super simple to check your current voice minute and data usage. But, you’ll have to have an active AT&T wireless account with a registered online account in order to use AT&T myWireless Mobile (that’s the bridge we’re talking about).

We’d ask why AT&T and Apple didn’t think of releasing an account-managing iPhone app a long time ago, but the thought never occurred to us either. Regardless, the AT&T myWireless Mobile app is sure to find a home in many an iPhone’s homescreen.
