OS 5.0.0.93 Leaked for BlackBerry Bold and Curve 8900

Yet another OS update for BlackBerry users this morning. This time around if you’re on a Bold or 8900 and want to install the latest and greatest OS… You can update to OS 5.0.0.93 via this link.

However, as I always warn, this is not an official release… So install at your own risk. Please backup your device and take all necessary precautions before you proceed! If you do install on your Bold or 8900, be sure to let us know if you notice any worthwhile changes and updates in this build!

I have a feeling we’ll see a similar build go official on us shortly anyway… I’ve heard and read multiple reports of devices having this very build on them down at WES this week.

    I’m running 4.6.114, just bought 8900 today.
    Found a later release of 4.6 on Crackberry, but never heard of 5.0?

    Yeap, i have a curve 8900 too and already made like 6 os updates, right now running this OS 5.0.0.93 (Beta), works flawessly :)

    I downloaded this 5 version and it’s truely amazing the graphics the color and it just looks cleaner. I really enjoy the updated blackberry messenger look.
    I can’t get facebook to work nor aim, google talk or myspace.
    I’d wait for the official.
