I was wondering when Palm Pre Themes were going to start dropping for the BlackBerry. Sure enough, a brand new ‘PreBerry’ theme has arrived for the BlackBerry Bold. I always get a kick out of themes that turn the look/feel of your device into that of another. Some may argue you get the best of both worlds, others may argue, heck, if you like the device so much (in this case, the Pre), why don’t you just buy one!? As we all know, you can’t buy a Pre (yet), so I have absolutely no problem with any Berry user purchasing and installing this one. Besides, I’m from the point of view that you get the best of both worlds. Use it and you’ll get the Pre-ish interface with all of the BlackBerry goodness of the Bold. It’s a good combo.

Getting back to the actual theme, it features 6 customizable icons. 5 of these icons are hidden on the ‘flowing’ dock, and one is located in the top right corner of the screen. Again, if you love the look of the Pre’s new-fangled WebOS interface, you may want to check this out to install on your Berry. You can pick it up at MobiHand for $5.99.

Note: As Will reported a few weeks ago, an alternate version was originally available for the BlackBerry Storm (BlackBerry 8900 users, a version is coming down the pipe for you too!).
