OtterBox Curve
Just when I finally got around to trying out the OtterBox case for the BlackBerry Storm, they launch the BlackBerry 8900 Curve Defender Series. It never ends with these people. In my experience, the Defender series’ three-layer protection works great for splash and impact protection, is the best protection you’ll find if size is no object, and with every iteration they do some vital fine-tuning. Despite that, I doubt we’ll see any major difference in Curve’s case performance versus the Bold’s, which I took a look at awhile back. If you’re looking for something a little lighter, take a look at our Impact Series skin review. You can nab the Defender Series for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 over here for $49.99.

Unless T-mobile, an engineer at CU, and I are all missing something, the 8900 has a serious issue – with the t-mobile phone the speakers do not line up, so I can not hear anything… Love otter products, but someone really messed up on this one. Have sent two emails to the company with no reply yet…. Maybe I can test their claim of indestructibility out and try to drill my own speaker holes….
