Palm Pre Coming to Verizon January 2010?

Now isn’t this interesting. According to a report over at the Wall Street Journal, the Palm Pre could land on Verizon as early as January 2010. Sprint CEO Dan Hesse had recently ‘gone off’ on Verizon telling them that Sprint’s exclusivity deal was longer than six months… Well, Dan may still be correct, as a January 2010 launch for the Verizon Palm Pre would put the wait at 7 months.

Whatever the case may be, Palm will no doubt want to hop on the Verizon network to sell more of the webOS-powered Pre, save the company, and save the world.

Of course, this could all be poppycock, but when the Wall Street Journal reports it, for some reason I’m more inclined to believe it. Guess we’ll find out as 2010 draws closer. Stash this in rumors for now.
