Orange UK had gone public with their HTC Hero announcement, but T-Mobile’s getting in on the action too, according to a recent public tweet. Taking on the name G1Touch, T-Mobile is clearly keeping this one in the established G1 family, a brand that might seem a little dated given Vodafone’s claim on the sexier HTC Magic. If you missed the launch earlier this week, the G1Touch is a teflon-coated, Android-powered beast of a smartphone. A new Sense user interface by HTC ties in tightly with Facebook, and makes a significant update to Android’s default look. Now, how much hope do we have that the G1Touch will cross the pond and hit up T-Mobile’s American counterpart?
