Not that I would trust these guys, especially since they’re using pictures yoinked from Engadget and a render of the original BlackBerry Storm, but MobileCity has the Storm 2 available for preorder for $649.99 unlocked. The biggest change in the new Storm is that it won’t be using the SurePress clicking touchscreen many have grown to loathe and few to love; the screen resolution and camera quality will likely be the same. The specs on the preorder page list Wi-Fi included on the CDMA version – something new, but not entirely unexpected. We’ve only seen the Verizon branded version of the next Storm, rumoured to be bearing the model number 9550, but a GSM Storm 2 is also on the way to Rogers and AT&T. One of the first pictures of the original Storm came by way of a tiny retailer, so it’s entirely possible MobileCity will be getting the sequel in the near future, but it’s a little hard to swallow without some proper pictures.
