Samsung Star S5230 gets more color versions, editions

Now we see how Samsung will go with its plan to sell 10 million Star S5230 handsets – by making it available in multiple color options and special editions.

That said we’ve spotted new flavors of the affordable all-touchscreen device:

  • In Germany, the Korean giant is collaborating with makeup artist Boris Entrup from Maybelline Jade to launch the Star S5230 in four color versions: black, white, pink and purple. Each version is readily available for 249 EUR, sans any strings attached.
  • In France, Samsung prepared the special version of the device called Samsung Player One Zadig & Voltaire. The phone’s back cover has a design pattern of the Z&V fashion house.

That’s about all we have for now, but we’ve no doubts more Star versions are in the pipeline. Stay tuned…
