iZendevWith more than 50,000 games and applications in the AppStore, it is getting harder for developers to get their application noticed by users. What they need is a good marketing, to tell consumers there’s a new app/game that could be of interest to them.

That said, today we’re presenting you with the first iPhone application marketing book (actually it’s an ebook) called “Secrets Of iPhone App Marketing: How To Get Your App Noticed & Increase Your Sales.”

The author of the book, Charles Rose, is an iPhone developer himself, programmer and technical writer since 1983. He’s also an entrepreneur, and has sold his dot-com business to Digital River in 1999.

From the press release:

The purpose of the eBook is to teach App Developers the importance of a strong marketing strategy and how to create one for their application. Developers will learn the best websites for iPhone App reviews, step-by-step instructions for how to prepare and submit their app to each site, how to write an effective press release, and tips on how to keep the public’s attention. Over 1000 hours of research have been condensed into an eBook, which is on sale now, and for a limited time is priced at $49.

50 bucks sounds super expensive for an ebook, but then again there are two factors that go in favor of buying it: 1) there’s no much competition (at least I’m not aware of any other iPhone app marketing book), and 2) you should get those $49 back pretty quickly if you learn something new from the book… More details are available from the dedicated website.
