DYA Cell Phone Concept from Aran Mun

Here’s a cool little concept device. Not sure how practical it’d be, but it sure is unique. Named the ‘DYA Cell Phone’, Designer Aran Mun designed this one to open diagonally (yep, a diagonal slider) to make or receive calls. Buttons are round and soft to the touch, which would make for easy and comfortable dialing. Call it ‘strange’ if you like, but I’m going to stick to ‘unique’ for now. The more I look at it, the more I wonder if it would actually be comfortable to hold on to the white portion of the device while the darker black/screen portion was up near my ear. Might work… might be comfortable… Hard to tell… Darn concepts, I wish I had one in my hand! More images below.
