
China Mobile plans to invest RMB 70 billion (about $10.24 billion) over the next three years to expand its network in rural areas. The world’s single largest operator in terms of number of subscribers has already spent RMB19.5 billion over past five years, reaching 60,000 villages.
The goal with the new expansion is to get customers from the additional 10,000 villages and set up 100,000 information service stations; and effectively keep its top spot…
