It was only a matter of time before the first myTouch 3G unboxing video made its way to the interwebs. Today, I happened to stumble across one, and I’ve posted it above for your viewing and/or gawking pleasure. First thing you’ll notice besides the funky artwork on the outer sleeve, is the great looking carrying case the myTouch 3G comes in. Very handy for travel and protection, although I would very rarely want to lug it around with me, that’s for sure. Inside you’ll find the device itself, the travel charger, USB cable, pouch/screen cleaner, headset, instructions… all of the typical stuff you’d expect. There’s also a screen protector included if you’re really protective and weary about scratches and dings on your beloved display. Check out the great unboxing video above for all the myTouch 3G goodness you can handle…. for today.

All of the specs remain the same of course, including the 3.2″ capacitive touchscreen, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, 3.2MP camera, plus Android OS 1.5 ‘Cupcake’. No surprises there. Mmmmm Cupcake!

If you’ve already pre-ordered one, good on you. If not, the T-Mobile myTouch 3G will be available for purchase nationwide starting August 5th. It’ll set you back $199.99 on a 2-year contract.
