A company called Iconology has a new application in the AppStore. It’s called Comics and as you can figure out for yourself, it allows you to browse around comics on your shiny device (iPhone or iPod Touch), while on-the-go.
Thanks to the familiar pinch-and-zoom technology reading comics on the iPhone is actually a pleasurable experience. Moreover, the comics itself are specially formatted for iPhone’s/iPod Touch’s screen, ensuring you don’t have to scroll too much through every panel in an issue.
At the moment of this writing, there are about 20 publishers with 100+ comics available in the app, which BTW you could grab for a buck ($0.99). Comics itself cost $1-2, which is not that much, plus there are quite a few (30+) issues offered for free.
Enough said. AppStore link is here, and a short video demoing the Comics app follows after the jump.
