Mobile social networking service Loopt announced support for two devices – iPod Touch and Sprint’s Samsung Instinct. If you’re not familiar with what Loopt is all about, you should know that using their service you can:
- see where your friends are via interactive maps
- share status, photos, and comments on Loopt Journals
- explore places recommended by services like Yelp
- meet new people nearby on Loopt Mix
- easily update all your web sites, blogs, and other social networks (such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc.) using Loopt Link
In a nutshell, if you’re social network maniac like many of us are these days, you’ll want to try out Loopt. Version for iPod Touch can be downloaded from here (iTunes link), whereas Samsung Instinct users should text “GET” to 56678 (LOOPT) and then follow instructions provided by Loopt. It’s that easy!
