Greg BallardPocketGamer.biz had a chance to sit down with Glu’s ex-CEO, Greg Ballard, and ask him some interesting questions. As expected, they asked him about Glu’s iPhone strategy and why it took so long for the company to embrace Apple’s platform.

He said: “It hasn’t been the home run for big publishers as was expected. If you stop publishing in this market, you immediately begin to lose market share.”

I couldn’t agree more with him. There so many titles in the AppStore and new ones are appearing on a daily basis. Still, that shouldn’t stop the major gaming publisher for getting its piece of the action and as a matter of fact, PocketGamer.biz ranked Glu third after EA Mobile and I-play…

The full story entitled “CEO Ballard reveals the secret sauce of Glu’s iPhone success” is available from this page on PocketGamer.biz.
