
DataViz has announced that its Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync client, RoadSync, is included on the new Samsung I8910 HD aka OmniaHD — allowing “secure, wireless and direct push synchronization” of corporate e-mail, calendar, contacts and tasks with Microsoft Exchange Server.
The same press release talks about the updated version (4.004) of RoadSync which is additionally optimized for touch input, and comes with improved setup and auto-discovery service, as well as basic support for Google Calendar and Google Contact Sync for non-Exchange users. This updated version also works on other Symbian S60 5th Edition-powered devices such as the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia N97.
Finally, those who buy the Samsung OmniaHD and get pre-loaded RoadSync S60 version 4.0 are entitled to a free update by selecting “Check for Updates” in the main RoadSync application…
