fring 3.40 now works on Samsung S60 phones, too

Fring has updated the latest version of its Symbian S60 client and now it’s not longer the Nokia thing, only – version 3.40 works on Samsung’s Symbian S60 smartphones, too — OmniaHD included.

As a reminder, key features of Fring 3.40 are unification hints (manual/GSM+IM services) and user profiles. In addition, some (if not all) known bugs have been fixed in this release.

The download page remains the same, and from there you can either grab the SIS file or install Fring via SMS.
