Just when we reported that the upcoming Nokia Internet Tablet aka N900 Rover has been spotted at the FCC, we caught some “in the wild” photos. Actually, the images show a prototype device, but it seems pretty finished to me. The photos appeared on the Mobile Bulgaria website, and I instantly found one thing I don’t like about the Rover – its keyboard. Like that was the case with the Nokia N97 – space key is too small. Moreover, there’s no D-pad, which I like, but regular directional/arrow keys. Why on Earth Nokia decided to move over from the N810′s keyboard is beyond me. Sure, it could use some improvements, but I’m not sure this is the way to go. Then again, I’ll have a better picture when I actually try this baby out. WOM World/Nokia folks, I’m ready to sign any NDA to have some intimate time with Rover. You know my email… ;)
