It’s far from official yet, but BGR and CrackBerry are both hinting that OS 4.7.1.42 may be the next OS to arrive for the new BlackBerry Tour. Strange happenings/errors have been reported from the OS that shipped with the Tour, so an update sooner-than-later would probably be what the doctor ordered. I know I’d be a little PO’d to pick up a Tour, only to have it glitch and glatch (ok, I know that’s not a word, gimme a break) on me out of the box.
Stay tuned for more on this… I have a feeling an OS update for the Tour is coming up soon.
