The Wikimedia Foundation, the folks behind Wikipedia, have written their own iPhone application [iTunes link] and it is now available for free from the App Store. ReadWriteWeb is saying the app isn’t very good, that it’s merely just a wrapper for the mobile version of Wikipedia, and that other applications such as Wapedia, Wikiamo and Wikipanion are better.
Who am I to judge? I don’t have an iPhone! Give it a go and let other IntoMobile readers know in the comments which Wikipedia application is best on the iPhone.
For all you other folks running Symbian, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, or whatever, just point your browser to the official mobile version of Wikipedia: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/
