skullcandy-fmj11-blackA while back now in April 2009, I was given some Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket (FMJ-11) headphones, following the Gadget Show Live (see here). I reviewed them after a five-minute fiddle, and initial impressions were that they are very good indeed – but what about after a quarter of a year of use?

Well, ongoing impressions are also that the headphones are excellent – they my de facto choice now from a bunch of headphones that I’ve tried with my iPhone, due to a combination of factors:

  • they are sturdy – no breakages, tears, or damage
  • they sound excellent
  • noise-isolation is very good
  • they have an integrated mic for taking calls

One thing I will say is that they are not the cheapest headphones on the market (in the UK at least), but searching around the web, you can find some decent discounts.

That said, what headphones do the IntoMobile Massive favour? Brands, Models, Spec, and prices please! Go on, leave us a comment on what you are using to pump music to your brain :)
