Following on today’s launch of the T-Mobile Motorola CLIQ mini-site, T-Mobile has announced official Motorola CLIQ launch details. The carrier’s third Android phone will go on sale starting October 19th on pre-order status for $199.99 when purchased with a new 2-year contract on qualifying voice and data plans. T-Mobile says the Motorola CLIQ will be fully available in stores and online on November 2nd, but pre-orders may get early shipments.

The Motorola CLIQ plays on the same playing field as the HTC Hero. The CLIQ sports a 3.1-inch capacitance touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, 3G data and the custom MOTOBLUR service that integrates all social networks and news feeds seamlessly into the CLIQ’s interface. And, at about $200, it carries the same price-tag that the iPhone 3GS. Find our hands-on review of the Motorola CLIQ here.
