Fring has released an updated version of its iPhone app. Version 2.0.0.4 packs few handy features, including:
- New look – nothing spectacularly new, just something that will make your Fring experience more enjoyable.
- New user profile – allows you to update your fring nickname, avatar and mood text, and broadcast it back to your IM friends. Of course, you can also see your friends’ avatars and mood texts as they change. Skype is the only supported third-party network at the moment, but that will change in the near future, as far as I’ve understood. This is actually a part of Fring’s efforts to better integrate with other social networks.
- Improved voice quality
- Copy/Paste and Linking capabilities – time saving for chat.
- Speakerphone support for all voice calls
- German language user interface
As usual, Fring team has also prepared a short video to demonstrate the latest features. That clip follows after the jump. Enjoy!
