close-slider-patchWish you could end phone calls on your Palm Pre by simply sliding the slider closed? Well, there’s now a Palm Pre patch for that!

A new software patch allows Palm Pre users to hang-up the phone with a “snick” of the slider – a feature Palm has yet to officially enable on the Pre. The patch is the latest in a string of Palm Pre patches that enable features Palm may have overlooked – forwarded text messages, LED light for alerts, adding pages to the app launcher, etc.

Thanks to the crafty code-work of KyeToss’s samkim, Palm Pre users can finally end phone calls by dramatically snapping the Pre closed. We say that’s reason enough to install this patch.

Find out how to download and apply the patch here.
